With the addition of GeoFencing and members being able to log gym visits from their Flex App, it has also never been simpler to adjust the specific pin drop location for your facility address. Wanting to ensure that no matter where map apps and Google show your registered address as, you are able to take control and place your GeoFence directly around your facility, preventing you from worrying if your pin will show up at the wrong end of the parking lot or the strip mall where your facility is located.
From your Settings page in the Management App, select Facility. There you will see basic information about your facility including your address, main contact on file, your dedicated Customer Success Manager at Fitness On Demand, and how to reach the Technical Support team at Fitness On Demand.
Additionally, you will see a map displayed with a dark blue pin displaying your facility location surrounded by a transparent blue "GeoFence" showing the area that is included as part of your gym location.
If you wish to adjust the location of the pin, you can easily click the upper right of the map to bring up the full screen view for ease of adjusting, or simply adjust within the window. You can either click and drag the dark blue pin, or simply click where you want the new location to be and the pin will jump to that location. Once you begin adjusting the location, you will notice there are three total markers on the map for you:
- The dark blue pin which is the new location of the facility GeoFence
- A light blue pin where the previous location was set
- and a light blue dot where your current physical location is
Once you are satisfied with the location of your GeoFence location, simply click the save button at the bottom of the map view you are using and the new location will be updated.
