Benefits of Scheduling Classes
Building a schedule is the best way to drive engagement and usage with your Fitness On Demand system. You can add both virtual and live classes to your schedule. Virtual classes will play automatically at their scheduled times, and live classes will ensure that your patrons won't use the Fitness On Demand system while you have a live class in session in the space. Adding both your virtual and live classes in the Management App will give you a single, comprehensive schedule for your space.
What are Advanced Settings?
The Advanced Settings are used to add classes that start at non-standard times and create recurring schedules. This allows for a more custom schedule tailored specifically to your needs.
How to use Advanced Settings
Advanced Settings can be accessed through the calendar and programming tab.
- Schedules Tab - After using the Quick Add method to create a class you can further edit the class After selecting the class, click on More Options at the bottom of the "Search Classes" pop-up to go to the class details page.
- Verify and select the correct Zone
- Select the Date and Time. If creating a recurring event, this will be the date and time of the first instance.
- For recurring events, check the Repeat Events checkbox to expand the options.
- Choose the frequency of the event in the Repeats drop-down between Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Daily and Monthly options will include a Repeats Every option. This indicates how often the class will play. For instance, a Daily class that repeats every 2 days will play every other day.
- The Weekly option will include checkboxes for the days of the week. You can select multiple days to add the class to the schedule every week on multiple days.
- Under Ends, select the duration of the recurring schedule.
- After X Times - This will add the event to your schedule X amount of total times.
- On X Date - This will add the event to your schedule on all of the days that meet the criteria between the start date and end date of your recurring schedule.
- Choose the frequency of the event in the Repeats drop-down between Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- To enable RSVPs, turn on the Reservations toggle and set the maximum capacity.
- Click Save
- Programming Tab - Click on the Programming tab at the top of your screen to see a list of all of the classes available in Fitness On Demand. Click on the class that you would like to add to your schedule to open the class details page. Scroll to the bottom of the page or click Add to Calendar on the top-right.
Please Note: If you have any scheduling conflicts you will see a popup that allows you to either edit or delete any of the scheduled events that conflict with your new schedule.
