Fuel – Nutrition by Fitness on Demand is a customizable tool that allows our Flex users to build individualized meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, and learn about overall wellness. In the realm of fitness, achieving your goals requires a comprehensive approach that encompasses both exercise and nutrition. While generic meal plans may provide a starting point, customized meal plans tailored to your specific needs offer a myriad of benefits that can accelerate your progress and enhance your overall well-being.
Customized meal plans take into account your individual dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences. By providing specific information about your current lifestyle and habits you can create a plan that aligns with your unique needs. This personalization ensures that you are consuming the optimal nutrients for your body composition, metabolism, and lifestyle.
Fuel provides you with detailed meal recommendations, recipes, and grocery lists that make meal planning and preparation a breeze. Tracking your meals within the app allows you to monitor your progress, identify areas for improvement, and stay accountable for your nutritional choices.
When first logging into the Flex app, you can access this by selecting the Fuel logo at the bottom of the screen. If you have not already completed the nutrition onboarding, a Get Started pop up will appear and guide you in completing this. In order to best assist you in building the best meal plan for your body and your personal goals, some personal information (such as height and weight) is required for our system to create a more personalized experience.
Once you have completed the Fuel onboarding process, you will have access to the customized meal plan. Regardless of completion of the onboarding questions, you can still utilize other areas of the Fuel section. In addition to meal plans, there are recipe libraries, customizable grocery lists, recipe favorite lists, meditations, health habits, podcasts, and more.
From the Meal Plan view you will be able to look at, edit, and make changes to your daily meal plan. You can utilize the recommended plan or create your own meal if you want to use other ideas. You can also add the necessary ingredients for the recipes directly to your shopping list.
Once you have added the ingredients to your shopping list, you can easily view them and the volume needed within your shopping list on the Fuel For the Body home page.
Important Note for dietary requirements:
You can filter your meal plan, recipes, and ingredient list by specific dietary requirements including dairy free, gluten free, plant based, and vegetarian.
You can also filter recipe searches by caloric intake per serving and keywords.
All meals that you make yourself and any that you favorite will be saved for you under the favorites list on the home page of Fuel For the Body. From there you can easily revisit any meals that are your go-to or favorite meals and easily add ingredients back into your shopping list so you can make them again and again.
